LoveGold Promotion Terms and Conditions

    1. The “LoveGold” Promotion (“The Promotion”) is organised and sponsored by HelloGold Sdn. Bhd. (Company No. 1170189-H) (“HelloGold”). The Promotion is governed by these terms and conditions, including any subsequent amendments thereto (“Terms & Conditions”).
    2. All Customers in the Promotion will be deemed to have accepted the Terms & Conditions.
    1. The Promotion is open to new Customers of HelloGold who:
      1. are eighteen (18) years of age or above;
      2. are residents or permanent residents of Malaysia;
      3. have a valid MyKad or a valid passport with a residence pass;
      4. have a Malaysian bank account; and
      5. Rakuten Trade Sdn. Bhd. (“Rakuten Trade”) customers who have activated a Rakuten Trade account. A Rakuten Trade account is activated upon the issuance of a Central Depository System (CDS) number. (“Customers”)
    1. For the avoidance of doubt, ‘New Customers of HelloGold’ are customers who have never bought gold before. Customers who have registered for a HelloGold Basic account or HelloGold PRO account before the Promotion Period but have never bought gold are not eligible for the Promotion.
    1. The Promotion Period will run from 21st February 2022 at 8:00:00 am until 20th March 2022 at 11:59:59 pm (both dates inclusive) (“the Promotion Period”).
    2. HelloGold reserves the right to extend or shorten the Promotion Period at their own discretion without prior notice.
    1. There are 2 phases of the Promotion. To participate in the Promotion, Customers must complete the steps listed in each phase within the Promotion Period to receive the respective rewards listed in each phase:
      • Phase 1: Registration Reward
        1. Customers must successfully register for at least a HelloGold Basic account and apply the promo code ‘LOVEGOLD’ (“The Code”) within the Promotion Period.
      • Phase 2: Lucky Draw Entry
        1. Customers must successfully register for at least a HelloGold Basic account and apply the promo code ‘LOVEGOLD’ (“The Code”) within the Promotion Period, and
        2. make their first successful purchase of a minimum of RM50 worth of gold or more in a single transaction via ‘Buy Gold’ on the HelloGold app by the 27th March 2022 at 11:59:59 pm (“Grace Period”).
    1. Customers are permitted multiple entries to the lucky draw with every RM50 purchase made in a single transaction. For the avoidance of doubt, every purchase of a minimum of RM50 in a single transaction earns Customers ONE (1) entry. RM100 is then equivalent to TWO (2) entries, RM150 is equivalent to THREE (3) entries or RM200 is equivalent to FOUR (4) entries.
    2. Customers are not permitted to accumulate purchases of less than RM50. For example, Customers who purchase RM25 worth in gold in one single transaction and proceed to purchase another RM25 worth in gold in a subsequent single transaction or any combination of less than RM50 in multiple transactions, will not be eligible to participate in the Promotion.
    3. For the avoidance of doubt, a successful HelloGold Basic account registration is when a Customer has verified their mobile phone number and their registration is then reviewed and approved as a HelloGold Basic account holder.
    4. All transactions made before the Promotion Period and after the Grace Period shall automatically be disqualified.
    5. Each Customer is entitled to use the (1) Code only once within their lifetime as a HelloGold Customer so long as the code is used before the Customer’s first gold purchase. For the avoidance of doubt, if a Customer has already previously claimed another promo code before or has bought gold before without using a promo code, the Customer is not eligible to use the Code anymore to receive a reward. This also includes Referral Codes.
    6. Customers who utilise the Code but do not meet the minimum purchase amount of RM50 worth of gold in a single transaction will not be entitled to an entry for the lucky draw.
    7. Purchases made with the HelloGold SmartSaver plan will not be eligible.
    1. Customers who successfully complete the requirements in the respective phases in the ‘Promotion Mechanics’ above will be entitled to:
      1. receive RM5.00 worth of gold into their HelloGold account. (“Gold Reward”)
      2. stand a chance to be one of the lucky 10 winners to win 1 gram of gold in our Lucky Draw (“Gold Prize”)
    2. Customers are entitled to receive a maximum of ONE (1) Gold Reward and ONE (1) Gold Prize only.
    3. The Gold Reward is limited to the first 1,000 Customers who use The Code on a first come first serve basis only.
    4. The Gold Reward will be credited into the Customer’s main HelloGold account and will be calculated as at the buy price at the date and time (Kuala Lumpur time) The Code is successfully used.
    5. The Gold Prize is limited to 10 lucky draw winners only, who shall be selected at random, either by hand or by other means and methods (which may be manual or computerized) as the Company may determine in its sole and absolute discretion. (“The Winners”).
    6. The Lucky Draw will be conducted on 31st March 2022. If the draw date falls on a public holiday, HelloGold shall have the right to proceed with the draw on the working day preceding the day of the public holiday.
    7. The Gold Prize will be credited into the winners’ main HelloGold account within 5 working days after the draw is made and will be calculated as at the buy price at the date and time (Kuala Lumpur time) the transfer occurs.
    8. Once the Gold Prize has been credited into the winners’ account, they will be notified via email. HelloGold will not be liable for any failed notifications due to third party systems errors and / or users unsubscribing from HelloGold’s email list and / or turning off app notifications.
    9. HelloGold will not be liable for any failed notifications due to third party systems errors and / or users unsubscribing from email lists and / or turning off app notifications.
    10. HelloGold will not be liable for any delays of transfer or non-transfer of the Gold Reward to the Customer.
    11. HelloGold reserves the right to substitute the Reward for other rewards of equivalent value without prior notice to the Eligible User, at its absolute discretion.
    1. The Customers understand and agree that their participation in the Promotion is at their own risk and HelloGold is not liable to any person whether in tort, contract, statute or otherwise for any direct, indirect, incidental or consequential damages or costs in connection with their participation in the Promotion.
    2. HelloGold makes no representation or warranty whatsoever pertaining to:
      1. the continuous, uninterrupted and error-free operation of the Promotion;
      2. the accuracy of information and statements in the Promotion page; Facebook page and ads with external approved partners; and
      3. the security and freedom from any computer viruses or other harmful properties.
    3. The Customers acknowledge and agree that to the fullest extent permitted by law, HelloGold disclaims all liabilities for any claims for damages, losses, costs and expenses arising from participation in the Promotion.
    4. HelloGold reserves the right to amend these Terms and Conditions, the mechanics or processes of the Promotion at any time without any prior notice and customers shall be bound to such amendments.
    1. The Promotion and all information published and related to it (including text, graphics, symbols, icons, software and trademarks) are protected by copyright and the trademark remains the sole property of HelloGold.
    1. HelloGold collects personal identifiable information to provide services or to correspond with the participant. This information is stored in a manner appropriate to the nature of the data by HelloGold and is used to fulfil the participant’s request(s). By submitting the participant’s personal information, HelloGold deems that permission is given by the participant to HelloGold and/or its authorised agents to use this information for the purpose of present and future marketing and promotional purposes and to improve its products and services. If the participant informs HelloGold via the Careline at hello@hellogold.com that the above information should not be used as a basis for further contact, HelloGold will respect the participant’s request. The participant’s information will not be provided or shared with other company or partners for their independent use.
    1. HelloGold shall not be liable for any default in respect of the Promotion due to any act of God, acts of Government, war, riot, strikes, protests, lockout, industrial action, fire, flood, storm, technical or system failures or any event beyond the reasonable control of HelloGold.
